Family activities
For families with younger children, it is often not possible to ski for full days which is why non-ski activities can provide a great form of entertainment in the afternoons.
We have been very careful to select ski resorts that offer a good range of town facilities and family amenities.
Morzine’s local ice rink is very popular as are the regular ice hockey matches that provide great entertainment for children of all ages.
Meribel and Val d’Isere also have ice rinks and both have swimming pools which are open to the public. Other activities available in all three resorts include dog sledding, cheese making demonstrations, horse-drawn sleigh rides, children’s farm and cinemas.
During peak family weeks there are family activities in each resort. These might include treasure hunts, snowman-building competitions, music and other entertainment, and Easter egg hunts.
Your chalet host will have full information regarding locations, opening hours and costs of any of these activities and can also pre-book for you where necessary.
“Enjoyed family guiding very much. Great for everyone, including the kids. ”
