Snowtime for kids
We understand that getting your little ones off to a great start on the slopes is essential to your enjoyment of a ski holiday.
Booking ski lessons, organising equipment and purchasing lift passes can be a time-consuming and stressful affair, particularly if you are planning a family holiday. At Highlife, we aim to remove this stress by doing the hard work for you.
Before departure, your holiday coordinator will work with you to plan an itinerary, so that every member of your family benefits from the best possible tuition.
We have partnered with excellent English-speaking ski schools in each resort who offer small class sizes to ensure your children have fun learning to ski and that they progress quickly. The same schools also provide a combination of lessons and other activities for younger children who may not be able to ski for a full morning.
When you first arrive at your chalet, your host will help settle you in before bringing you all to the equipment shop to assist with boot fittings.
On the first morning of your holiday, a member of our team will be on hand to help you settle the children into their classes - from our experience, this can make a huge difference as the children tend to react very well to enthusiastic Highlife hosts. This service also greatly improves your chances of starting your own class on time.
Your resort manager will check in with you regularly throughout the week to ensure that every member of your family is getting the most out of their time on the slopes.
To offer you better value for money, all children who ski with Highlife get free helmets.
“ It was a great experience with young children. We always live in fear of disastrous holidays with kids abroad but it was a roaring success - very relaxed environment and child friendly.”
